The Runaway Guys Colosseum is a weekend long event that is live streamed every year to raise money for Direct Relief to aid people around the world through crisis and hardships.
The name was later changed to Thrown Controllers Colosseum after the drama involving Chuggaaconroy in January 2024.

Established in 2018, The Runaway Guys Colosseum is a weekend long event that is live streamed every year to raise money for Direct Relief to aid people around the world through crisis and hardships.
Combining video games, music, art, and comedy, The Runaway Guys and friends go all out to raise money for charity. Be it comedic stream bumpers, video game modifier donation incentives, catching a rocking concert, or chilling out with some relaxing art time, there is something for everybody to watch and enjoy during the event.
With the combined efforts of the community, event staff, and the performers, a total over $1,000,000 has been raised since the inception of the event.

2018[]
The Runaway Guys Colosseum was originally broadcasted from May 4th, 2018 until May 6th, 2018. The event raised a total of $112,601 for Direct Relief.
The event saw the core members of The Runaway Guys and many returning guests, along with many newcomers act as presenters for the event. Lord Dona'tor also rose to infamy for kidnapping The Lamp and asking for donations for its safe return.
A plethora of content was on display including gameplay with donation incentives to add unique twists, guitar jam sessions to your favourite video game music, and even a mini Thrown Controllers show.
2019[]
The Runaway Guys Colosseum 2019 was originally held from May 3rd, 2019 until May 7th, 2019 and raised a grand total of $183,790 for Direct Relief.
Almost everyone from the previous Colosseum event was present for 2019, along with many newcomers to the cast! Lord Dona'tor was also present to kidnap The Lamp again, but his dastardly plan was foiled by donations.
This Colosseum introduced the audience to comedic bumpers in between segments, multiple concerts, even more insane gaming donation incentives, tons of Hiker dances, and even a bonus stream.
2020[]
The Runaway Guys Colosseum Direct was held remotely from April 17th, 2020 until April 19th, 2020 and raised a total $231,677 for Direct Relief.
During 2020, the world was affected by COVID-19, but that didn't stop The Runaway Guys and friends from stepping up and helping out, even without being able to meet up. Everyone returned along with even more new faces to the roster to assist people in need.
Building on the previous years, programming consisted of concerts galore, art blocks, tons of group gaming sessions, and even an appearance of a "Chaos Fortune Cookie" show, which shattered donation records for the group.
2021[]
The Runaway Guys Colosseum 2021 was held remotely from May 7th, 2021 until May 9th, 2021 and raised a total $434,715 for Direct Relief.
Once again, The Runaway Guys were unable to meet up due to world events, but that didn't stop from another record shattering Colosseum from taking place. Joined by a new friend in The Completionist, nothing was going to stop them from raising money for charity.
Not only did this Colosseum feature more awesome segments such as daily concerts, game shows, and the community making music together, but it also featured a limited time only Colosseum 2021 shirt where all the proceeds went to Direct Relief.
2022[]
The Runaway Guys Colosseum 2022 was held partially remote from February 26th, 2022 until March 1st, 2022 and raised a total $418,846 for Direct Relief.
With the world starting to open up again, so did Colosseum 2022 with a mix of remote and in person gatherings. While the group wasn't fully able to get together once again, that didn't stop everyone from raising another incredible amount for Direct Relief.
This Colosseum showed off amazing shiny Pokémon luck, an insane amount of Hiker dances before a segment actually started, and the return of Versus in the form of a Sunshine race.
Another awesome limited time shirt by Drew Wise was made available.
2023[]
The Runaway Guys Colosseum 2023 was held between March 3rd and March 5th, and featured The Completionist as a full on participant.
2024[]
For this event, the name was changed to Thrown Controllers Colosseum after the drama involving Chuggaaconroy in January 2024. It was also revealed that The Completionist would not be attending due to his charity fraud scandal the previous year.
