Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX is Chuggaaconroy's 44th Let's Play.
It was announced on May 13th, 2020, and premiered the following day with [[[[Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX – Episode 1: Waking Up on the Other Side|Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX – Episode 1: Waking Up on the Other Side''. The Let's Play consists of 46 episodes and a bonus video, with a total length of 23 hours, 30 minutes, and 58 seconds.
Description[]
"A new adventure set in the wilds of the world of Pokémon! For those looking for a more story-driven experience set in the Pokéverse, along with more exploration of what Pokémon really are, this is the spin-off for you!"
Background[]
Originally, it was Emile's intent for Let's Play #42 to be the original Nintendo DS game Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team[1][2], following the completion of Super Mario Galaxy 2. Pre-production work was completed and notes were taken, when the January 2020 Pokémon Direct dropped and revealed that the original Pokémon Mystery Dungeon was being remade to this game: Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX.
Emile changed plans, added Kirby: Triple Deluxe as a replacement Let's Play #42 (and tossed in Super Mario Land as a one-episode April Fools LP #43), reworked his notes, and premiered this as his 44th Let's Play just two months after the game launched.
Hints[]
