Trivia[]
- The video features a tribute to Kirby, Emile's cat who died in July of the previous year, at the end.
- The video features references to two previous memes, Hiker Dance and Steve the Red Pikmin.
- Emile catches Crustle and mentions that he originally wrote off Crustle as useless, but people challenged him on it and he ended up coming around on it. Originally, Emile was considering Drapion as his final team member but changed his mind.
- As per Finale tradition, he adds a Stinger... consisting of rapid-fire objectives to get every medal in the game. Some of the scenes are even missing due to Emile never having achieved them before due to their sheer difficulty.
- This is the last video that Emile made before his subsequent controversy surrounding misconduct allegations, which began four days after the video's release.
- When the video was originally uploaded, the comments consisted of tributes to Kirby and Pokémon related topics. Following the misconduct allegations however, the comments on the video were largely dominated by discussion of the controversy, as well as words of encouragement from Emile's fans.
- On March 21st 2024, NintendoCapriSun left a comment on the video, in which he said: "Hey, just wanted to drop by to say thanks for the words of encouragement here! Emile is still working with the therapists and getting the right treatment and medication for things. This has all been a real rollercoaster, and I (among many others) have been fighting tooth and nail to keep our lips sealed about what we know. This is not even one of those "only sorry because you got caught" situations, because he was going to therapy for several months before any of this stuff even came out. He knew on his own that he had problems and he was already working to fix them of his own volition. He wanted to do it years ago, but Covid made it damn near impossible to get proper treatment. There's more to that story, but again I leave that for him to tell. I have told Emile that when he does make a statement, he will not be doing it alone. I'm glad to see that some of you will be with us too. Take care guys, just know everything is going to be OK!"
- Emile went on hiatus for a few months until the heat cooled down. After clarifying several things and either disproving much of the allegations or showing the full context of them in April 2024, Emile continued his hiatus for three further months (saying this was to protect his mental health) before returning to content creation in July 2024 with the video "The Ridiculous Quest for Figurines in Wind Waker".
