- "Hi! Welcome to my Twitch channel! This is where I'll be playing all sorts of games just for the funsies, and I hope you'll enjoy whatever weird shenanigans happen here! Other things may definitely happen too, this isn't a strict schedule at all! I generally just play whatever I feel like in the moment, so keep an eye out! I might throw some new things into the mix to keep things fresh! Things here are pretty relaxed and honestly these streams are meant as just a little hangout spot! If you're in the mood to chat with some fellow geeks and have fun while watching game derping, then you're in the right place!"
- ―Masae's Twitch about page
Masae (also known as MasaeAnela or The Corvid Queen [V-tuber] ) (born April 25, 1992) is an American Twitch/YouTube streamer, V-tuber, artist, writer, & Let's Player. She's known for her quirky commentary and spirited demeanor. She started her channel in 2009, inspired from NintendoCapriSun's videos. She has made Let's Plays on various video games, the majority of which have been released on Nintendo platforms, including titles from the Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Pikmin, and Kirby video game franchises. In her videos, Masae has an upbeat commentary style and occasionally voice over character dialogues for certain titles. She self-describes herself as an incredibly stubborn and determined person when playing video games, as demonstrated by her 13-hour Undertale stream or her 15 hour attempt at completing a sidequest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Masae debuted her V-tuber (The Corvid Queen) on March 1st 2025, where she began multi-streaming to both her Twitch channel and new YouTube channel, where all V-Tuber era vods will be saved, in addition to clips, highlights, and extra content. She still plans on doing the odd Let's Play here and there though, but they'll be more like a fun occasional bonus than a regular thing. Her streams vary between game completion (i.e. Tunic), first impressions, multiplayer games (i.e. Splatoon and Lethal Company), chill simulation games (i.e. Animal Crossing), and speedrun streams (Super Mario 64 16-Star exclusively). Her 16-Star PB (personal best) is 20:19 as of March 2nd 2025. In addition to her own content, Masae has occasionally appeared alongside other LPers/content creators on their channels and participates in various D&D games.
Masae and Chuggaaconroy dated for 10 years and collaborated on several Let's Plays on both their channels including Mario Party 2 and Pikmin 3 Mission Mode, and had been Emile's go-to artist for Pokémon games from Pokémon Emerald to Pokémon Black & White. However, by the time production began on the Pokémon Black 2 & White 2 Let's Play, Emile and Masae were no longer on speaking terms which led to Emile commissioning approximately 20 different artists to make one work each, rather than burdening a single artist with having to redo every one of Masae's works. For that same reason, NintendoCapriSun takes over Masae's role of playing through the opposite version to show off major differences, no doubt bolstered by the fact Emile and Tim became housemates in late 2021. Following several strains to their relationship up to 2021, Masae and Emile went their separate ways, collectively agreeing to no longer associate or collaborate with each other for both personal and professional matters.
Early life
Masae was born on April 25th 1993. She was raised in Georgia and was home schooled for most of her grade school years up until the end of the high school age. Masae went to college and attempted to major in biology and later art, but then dropped out with the growing success of her YouTube channel.

Let's Play career
- "Hey guys, MasaeAnela here!"
- ―Masae's intro in almost every Let's Play video she makes

One of Masae's profile pictures
Masae was convinced by a friend to start producing "Let's Play" videos. She started her channel and uploaded her first video on October 17th, 2009. Her inspiration for making Let's Plays was NintendoCapriSun, whom she later befriended. Her first Let's Play was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, recorded with a camcorder pointed at her television. In this Let's Play she begins hesitantly, but gained a lot more confidence in herself in future Let's Plays, however, and she's now effusive, excited, and entertaining in her commentary.
Since starting her Let's Playing career, Masae has made Let's Plays on various video games, the majority of which have been released on Nintendo platforms, including titles from the Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Pikmin, and Kirby video game franchises. Among her Let's Plays include Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario RPG, Mario Party 2, Super Mario Sunshine, Pikmin, Paper Mario, Super Mario Galaxy, Banjo-Kazooie, Ōkami, Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards and Pikmin 4.
Masae's YouTube profile picture changes depending on what game she is Let's Playing. For example, when she played Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, her profile picture depicted her chibi form wearing clothes similar to the character Adeleine. In her videos, Masae has an upbeat commentary style. She also has incredible determination when playing video games, as demonstrated by her 13-hour Undertale stream or how she spent 15 hours attempting to complete a sidequest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. In 2014, to celebrate her channel's 5th anniversary, Masae decided to do a Let's Play of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, the remake of the game that started her Let's Playing career. Masae's channel experienced a rise in popularity after she was featured as a guest on Emile and Stephen's channels, with her reaching the milestone of 100,000 subscribers on YouTube on April 28th 2017. Masae has 129,000 subscribers and 48,951,132 views as of 2023. The official Twitter account for Ōkami gave Masae a shout-out after she began her let's-play of that game, and they also gave one to her and FamilyJules for their rendition of the song Reset.

Masae's Twitch profile picture
Masae regularly streams games on Twitch. Masae also regularly streams games on Twitch. The games she has steamed include Stardew Valley, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Celeste, VVVVVV, Monster Hunter: World, Super Mario 64, A Hat in Time, Rimworld, Splatoon, Undertale, Lethal Company, Dark Souls, Monster Hunter Rise, and Mario Kart 8. Streams with story are usually uploaded to her stream playlist. She started practicing speedrunning Super Mario 64 by beating the game with 16 stars. Streams with story are usually uploaded to her stream playlist. In October 2016, Masae became a Twitch Partner. As of 2024, Masae has 36k followers on Twitch.
Masae's first stream was on Ustream. Since then, she has gradually done more streaming on Twitch. After a hiatus, she began to stream more consistently in 2014, resuming her streams of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and VVVVVV, in addition to starting Undertale, Splatoon, and Stardew Valley streams in 2016. In October 2016, she became a Twitch Partner. While she primarily streams on Twitch, she started streaming on her YouTube channel on a part time basis in October 2022. Masae currently rotates between Tunic, Stardew Valley, & Super Mario 64, primarily. She started practicing speedrunning Super Mario 64 by beating the game with 16 stars. Her 16-Star PB (personal best) is 20:19 as of March 13th 2024. Streams with story were uploaded to her stream playlist on her main channel until Masae created a VOD channel called MasaeAnela Achrives in 2021 where she uploads all Twitch VODs.
Other series
Masae has posted timelapse videos of fanart from a variety of video game series titled Let's Draws. In addition has posted several other misc videos such as Q&As, and has had several friends guest on her channel for her ongoing Clubhouse Games series that started in 2022.
Masae has participated in many charity streams in her career. Most notably Thrown Controllers Colosseum (known as The Runaway Guys Colosseum from 2018-2023), but has also been part of Zeldathon, and Zelda Universe's ZU-Thon, among others.
VOD Channel
Masae started her 2nd channel MasaeAnela Archives in 2021 for the purpose of uploading Twitch stream VODs. Before starting the VOD channel, she would upload all stream games that have story to the main YouTube channel. Those uploaded before the VOD channel was started, & all YouTube streams can still be found on her main channel.
V-tuber/Corvid Queen era

Masae's V-tuber during her debut on March 1st 2025
For the past couple of years prior to 2025, Masae had been secretly been preparing a big rebrand, including going full VTuber mode. Masae debuted her V-Tuber The Corvid Queen on March 1st 2025. As part of the debut she launched a new YouTube channel which she will be multi-streaming to along with her Twitch channel. All V-tuber era VODs will be automatically saved to the YouTube channel. She also uploads steam highlights and clips to the channel in addition to other content such as her original song (w/ LaceyJohnsonMusic) Corvid Queen.
Masae took the entirety of February off from streaming on Twitch. The plan was to spend some of this time to finish up her Let's Play of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year-Door. Unfortunately the final preparations took more effort than expected, so this didn't happen. Masae wants to focus on the new stuff for the near future, so it will probably still be a while before her Paper Mario: The Thousand Year-Door Let's Play continues. However, Masae has confirmed her Let's Play of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year-Door will be finished at some point. Masae hates to leave projects unfinished and I'm sure having it hanging like it is at the moment bothers her more than anybody else. After Paper Mario: The Thousand Year-Door though, things will be slowing down on her Let's Play channel. She still plans on doing the odd Let's Play here and there though; but they'll be more like a fun occasional bonus than a regular thing.
Collaborations and Guest Appearances
Masae has guested on many of her friends' & colleagues' channels over the years. Including many in the Thrown Controllers/The Runaway Guys Colosseum group, BrainScratch Commentaries, & Good Vibes Gaming, among others. Masae's Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics series features guest stars including Proton Jon, NintendoCapriSun, Adrisaurus and The8BitDrummer.
Masae is a recurring guest member of The Runaway Guys, and later became a co-producer alongside Tom Fawkes. She finally became the fourth main guest joining Proton Jon, NintendoCapriSun, and Chuggaaconroy on their LP of Super Mario 3D World playing as Peach. Before that she made multiple appearances on the channel when she played Koopa in MKDD, on Team Streetpassers with Emile, appeared as guest in Burnout Revenge, played Carver in Fortune Street: Mt. Magmageddon, and was a participant in the Bomberman and Super Smash Bros. Wii U tournaments. She also was also with the guys during the third and fourth streams they did on Twitch and regularly assisted them for their Thrown Controllers panel. She was also a guest for the Pikmin Adventure portion of Nintendo Land.
Masae has done art work throughout her career. She has an art based Patreon & takes select commissions. She does basically all of the artwork for her channel herself, including her signature Chibi Masae designs. She made the Kirby artwork for Adriana Figueroa's cover of Lifelight.
Masae has sang two VGM covers. Reset from Okami w/ FamilyJules, & Mabe Village from Link's Awakening feat. Sab Irene. Masae wrote the lyrics to the latter. The former appeared in the finale of her Okami LP. On the former, Masae said" I am overwhelmed and emotional. This honestly feels so surreal to see it up on YouTube now, and with such a positive response! Thank you so, so much for having me along for this cover, Jules. It was a pleasure and an honor to do this with you-- it's so cool to get a little peek into the kind of work that you guys do on a regular basis. It's an experience I'll treasure, for sure! You're the best!". She also plays the Otamatone. She has done many streams where she plays songs with it, mostly in a very casual context, however she did collab with StringPlayerGamer playing the Otamatome for their cover of Animal Crossing New Horizons: 5 PM on YouTube.
Masae played Pya (and additional characters) in Zelda Universe's The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild dub, where all the story dialogue in the game is voice acted.
Masae plays Scraw in Stake My Heart run by heychrisfox. The games are streamed on Chris' Twitch channel & uploaded to his YouTube channel. She has also played some 1-shot campaigns online as part of Thrown Controllers Colosseum & and StephenPlays' YouTube channel.
Masae has appeared in several IO D&D games run by BrettUltimus. She played Khairen in The Miss Demeanor, Keres Creed/Ayla Fern in Deadbeats & Granny Cashew in Why Slay Dragons when you could be FISHING. All are live streamed on BrettUltimus' Twitch channel & uploaded to his IO YouTube channel.
Chuggaaconroy collaborations

Masae with Chuggaaconroy
During her relationship with Emile, Masae did several collaborations with him on both their channels. The Let's Plays they collaborated on include Pikmin 3, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Fortune Street, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Super Mario 3D World, Mario Party 2, Splatoon, Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome Amiibo, Pokémon Black & White, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Splatoon 2.
Masae had been Emile's go-to artist for Pokémon games from Pokémon Emerald to Pokémon Black & White. However, by the time production began on the Pokémon Black 2 & White 2 Let's Play, Emile and Masae were no longer on speaking terms which led to Emile commissioning approximately 20 different artists to make one work each, rather than burdening a single artist with having to redo every one of Masae's works. For that same reason, Tim takes over Masae's role of playing through the opposite version to show off major differences, no doubt bolstered by the fact Emile and Tim became housemates in late 2021.
Pikmin 3 Mission Mode
Masae was featured in five episodes of Emile's Pikmin 3 Mission Mode series. She appears in Bingo Battle, Beastly Cavern, Forgotten Cove, Clockwork Chasm, and Battle Enemies. In the Bingo Battle video, Emile shows off the Bingo Battle side mode with Masae, and Masae wins 2 out of the three rounds played.
Emile aimed to do each of Pikmin 3's Mission Mode stages with different guests. About halfway through, Emile started running into trouble with meeting up with everyone (and, on one occasion, was missing a piece of equipment he needed for recording), leading to long delays between episodes and some repeated guests. Following a two-year hiatus, Emile dropped the idea and simply wrapped up the rest of Mission Mode with Masae in December 2019.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Day 36: The Land of Hope
Emile visited her town of Aurnion and it was revealed Amelia had moved there.
Day 40: All's Well That Ends Well [Part 1]
Emile briefly returned to her town on New Year's Eve.
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
Masae joined Emile to tackle the multiplayer of the game.
Fortune Street
Masae joined TRG to play Mount Magmageddon, Mario Circuit, Castle Trodain, and Alefgard. Her choice of character was Carver.
During the Mario Circuit board, a card chosen by another player limited the players' movements to one space on their next roll, and Masae was at a junction where both spaces were 500+ Tim spaces. Taking Jon's advice she moved towards the 690 following the one she hit - and rolled another 1 the following turn.
During Castle Trodain many decisions she made would come back to haunt her, her not buying a specific shop early on in particular.
She almost won Alefgard, but Emile went bankrupt on one of Jon's spaces instead (that he had just spruced up that same turn, no less). The honor of first guest win would subsequently go to Tom.
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
Masae, now joined by Emile, beat some levels of the Golden Temple.
Super Mario 3D World
Masae controlled Princess Peach during all episodes.
Mario Party with Chuggaaconroy
During a pause in uploading content on their accounts, the two played Mario Party 2 together. The playthroughs of Pirate Land, Horror Land, Mystery Land, and Bowser Land were uploaded to Emile's account while Space Land and Western Land went to Masae's.
She got the Coin Star at Space Land thanks partly to rolling a 1 just as Emile said "unless you roll a 1..."; earlier that same board she did not set a Snifit trap which cost Emile all his Coins (even with one dice block Black Hole Bowser was guaranteed to hit him, as evidenced by Emile's "OH MY BARK!" when he realized where he was). Her gaining the Coin Star thanks to that 1 was because the actual Star Space was close to her position at the time of that roll.
Like Tim, Masae played as Yoshi. Unlike Tim in the TRG LP, Masae was able to win a board when she won Western Land, partly thanks to getting the Mini-Game and Coin Stars (Emile believing the final mini-game gave her the former). Originally Masae and Emile were going to play Mario Party 3 on her channel to follow up their collab of playing Mario Party 2 between their two channels. They skipped to Mario Party 4 on account of technical difficulties. While the duo did return to Mario Party 3 later, they only managed to play the one of the six boards before their break-up.
In January 2024, Masae removed all videos of her playing the Mario Party series with Emile following the allegations Emile got himself embroiled in, which he later disproved or showed the full context of in April 2024. This has caused their playthrough of Mario Party 2 to be missing the matches on Western Land and Mystery Land, as those videos were uploaded to Masae’s channel, although they have since been reuploaded via fan copies for archival purposes. The only remaining pieces of content with him directly in it on Masae's channel are the early parts of when she covered the 3DS version of Donkey Kong Country Returns, likely for sake of completion. The videos of them playing Mario Party 2 that were uploaded to Emile’s channel remain however.
Splatoon
Episode 1: Inkopolis News Time!
Masae's voice can be heard in the background, saying the words "Stop yourself."
Episode 19: Battle Dojo
Masae appears as a guest star.
Episode 20: Squad Battle
Masae appears as a guest star. She additionally helped in this let's play by recording a lot of the clips in the weapon bios. Any clip of a female inkling was recorded by Masae.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome Amiibo
Episode 25 [Finale]: Founder's Day
In the end, Emile can be seen going on a train and visiting Masae's town, Aurnion, and can be seen walking to a house. Molly, a former villager of Palette, Emile's town, has moved to Aurnion, and Emile talks to her before the screen fades to black.
Pokémon Black & White
Masae provides bio-art once more, for what would ultimately be her final time doing so.
Episode 5: Dream Team
Masae plays multiplayer with Emile. Her file later returns for Episode 14 as Emile uses it to show off Liberty Island and capture Victini after fighting off Team Plasma; other than that, Whitlea only appears when Emile plans to show version differences between Black and White.
Episode 82: Battle Across Time
Masae battles Emile twice, controlling Whitlea. She ends up losing both battles without knocking out any of Emile's Pokémon.
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Episode 44: Green Dream Team
Masae appears as a guest star to demonstrate Co-star mode.
Splatoon 2
Masae appears as a guest multiple times throughout the LP as they were recorded in 2021, a few months prior her and Emile breaking up. Emile would later admit he uploaded those videos assuming that were only on break and would still friends, with Masae having to later clarify in private she no longer wished to associate with Emile in any capacity.
Emile had assumed that he and were just taking some distance from each other and uploaded his Splatoon 2 Let's Play which contained cameos of Masae that was recorded prior to their fallout. Masae, not having approved of this, resumed conversation with him to stop using any further mentions of her, which Emile agreed to in the end.
Personal life
Relationships
Masae and Chuggaaconroy dated for 10 years and they were engaged to be married; but went their separate ways in 2021 due to conflict of interests with keeping their relationship discreet, social pressure from the community fanbase adding additional strain to their publicized dynamic, and concerns regarding Emile's personal interactions with certain individuals over time. The both of them made an agreement at the time to quietly and gradually disassociate from each other's content, which became tested in January 2024 when pressed to provide commentary on Emile's status. Masae officially announced her status of no longer being in collaboration with Emile, but later publicly made peace with him and resumed their agreement to disassociate from each other. As of 2021, Masae is in a relationship with Dungeons and Dragons DM and fellow streamer BrettUltimus. She and Brett work together on IO Publishing (Brett is the developer, Masae is Editing Director, an editor & a writer). They also have a co-op YouTube channel called Couple's Couch where they play through various video game titles.
Masae and Emile's relationship had been non-publicized from the beginning, with only their friends and some close associates being in the know. However, a subset of the TRG fanbase community took note of their (at the time) friendly dynamic as it appeared on the screen and ran with it by shipping the two as friends-to-potential item, which was a topic amongst the fanbase on several occasions. While the agreement to keep the relationship private for mutually agreed upon at the start, at some point after their engagement, Emile expressed a desire to make their status publicized, which Masae insisted on keeping private due to social pressure regarding their public appearances as perceived by the community.[1] Emile ultimately respected her wishes and the relationship remained privitized up until January 2024.
Over time, their relationship gradually became strained, which Masae cites as due to Emile slowly becoming more intrusive with her boundaries despite being told to stop repeatedly, being uncomfortable with how Emile has talked to/about her in the past, and his behavior regarding interactions with other people (particularly women) both professionally and privately.[2] Masae also cited that the size and culture of his following was to the point where she felt that she was unable to assert herself more and set boundaries without the risk of pushback, thus creating a relationship no longer on equal footing.[3]At the time, Emile had recognized his errors and tried to apolgize to her on several occasions, but the relapse in behavioral issues combined with a small subset of Emile's following treating her as secondary to Emile's business led her to feel that Emile was ultimately negligent to addressing these issues in favor of maintaining the entertainment that came from people's speculation of their relation to each other.[4]
In the middle of 2021, Masae and Emile quietly parted ways and made the agreement to no longer personally associate with each other through both their content and their interpersonal interactions, a result that has left considerable distress to Emile. Later in 2022, Emile had assumed that they were just taking some distance from each other and uploaded his Splatoon 2 Let's Play which contained cameos of Masae that was recorded prior to their fallout. Masae, not having approved of this, resumed conversation with him to stop using any further mentions of her, which Emile agreed to in the end.[5] However, the community's perception of Masae as being Emile's close friend continued to linger at various occasions, even after Masae began her relationship with Brett and announced it with the addendum that they were not looking for their new partnership to be treated as entertainment.[6][7] In 2022, Masae made a post on her YouTube community tab that she was tired of being compared to "another content creator" (referring to Emile) as she is her person with her own sense of humour, stating "I've always enjoyed making jokes, like looking for clever alliteration and rhyhmes-that's always been a mainstay of my channel and is just who I am as a person." Masae also shared this statement to Twitter, writing that "Content creators are individuals-- we all have our own personalities. Try not to compare and attribute our styles to other people."[8]
The sudden alarm of Emile being casted in a negative light in January 2024 amid online misconduct allegations caused many of Emile's followers to seek out Masae's opinions and comments regarding Emile's activity, unaware that doing so put her back in a compromised position of having to engage in discussions about someone she no longer wanted to be associated with. The amount of unsolicited questioning carried over to Masae's appearance in MAGFest 2024 and on January 24th, Masae released a statement formally asserting her disassociation with Emile, disapproval of his actions, and how she was tired with people still assuming the both of them as friends.[9] Following the statement, both Masae and Emile took a hiatus from online appearances. In April 2024, Emile requested the community to not misinteret Masae's words or continue to bother her regarding Emile's business.[10] Masae would then privately discuss with Emile again to release another statement the next day confirming Emile's account and to again request that the community would stop unsolicitly asking them about each other or sending harassment to either one.[11] Emile responded to Masae's statement about their past relationship by quote retweeting it, in which he wished her the best, saying "I want everyone to know there is no ill will on my side either. You said what you thought was necessary to get people to leave you alone. It was other people who made assumptions, that was why I needed to say what I said. I wish you the best life without me in it, you deserve it. You are a wonderful human being who has done so much for me and I want you to succeed and come back from this."
Pets

Masae with Mipha perched on her hand
Currently Masae's pets are her bird Mipha who is a Rose-Breasted Cockatoo that who unequivocably became Masae's mascot animal across her content alongside Chibi Masae, and two cats named Leo and Bijou.
Masae previously had two sugar gliders named Nori and Mellow for nearly 10 years. Nori passed away in May 2024 from cancer and Mellow passed away soon after from co-dependence to Nori.
Masae previously had a dog named Adri (nicknamed as Little A). Little A was originally intended to be MomAnela's dog when she was adopted, however Little A got too attached to Masae which posed separation anxiety issues with Masae's lifestyle and frequent trips to conventions at the time. Eventually, Masae went to help find Little A a new home and family for Little A and has been thriving since.
Before Little A, Masae had a dog named Keiki. Keiki was supposed to be Masae's dog, got attached to MomAnela instead, but stayed with the family and lived a long healthy life of 18 years.
She and Brett previously had a cat named Leila who was Leo's mother, having passed away in 2024.
Even before Mipha, Masae always had a strong affinity for birds and has raised many over the years. Some names include Mochi, Pipi, and Lcee, and Pochi.

But at some point there are some things that just DON'T, that- that's just like such a slim chance of happening and it's such a series of events and then it ends up with the perfect amount of coins and then you're- you're just like "That actually just happened" Y'KNOW? THAT ACTUALLY JUST HAPPENED and I can't believe that it ended up going in that very specific set of-That very very specific set of events that enabled this to happen and then it HAPPENED, Y'KNOW?"
- "Ho! Ly! Crap! Oh my gosh! OOOOOH boy! NO! NO! That did not just happen! That did NOT just happen! That did not just happen!" (When Emperor Bulblax crushed all 97 of her remaining Pikmin in a single stomp)
Trivia
- At conventions, Masae is identifiable by a Pikachu plush on her head. How it stays on her head is a secret to everybody.
- Masae and Emile have LPed many of the same games, including Super Mario Sunshine, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Super Mario RPG, Pikmin, Paper Mario, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Okami, Yoshi's Wooly World, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
- It seems that Masae's been having similar luck to Emile when it comes to the games she chooses to do an LP, having ports, remakes or DLC announced shortly/during her playthrough:
- A few months after finishing Kirby's Epic Yarn, it's enhanced 3DS port, Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn, was announced in the September 2018 Nintendo Direct.
- Katamari Damacy Reroll was announced near the end of her playthrough of Katamari Forever. It was announced in the very same direct as Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn.
- This happens twice with Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. The first time happened after the finished the Wii U version, where the Switch version came out with extra levels themed after Super Mario Odyssey. After finishing those levels, the Special Episode DLC was announced.
- Banjo and Kazooie were announced to be third DLC fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate during her LP of Banjo-Kazooie. Even more hilarious, the episode uploaded the day after the announcement has Masae making a joke about Master Hand. To top that off, the episode in question was recorded weeks before the announcement. Needless to say, Masae herself was shocked when people pointed this out.
- During the hiatus of her playing Super Mario 64, the All-Star port of it, Sunshine, and Galaxy were announced.
- Two months after her Pokémon Snap LP's intended April Fool's Day 2020 release (Schedule Slip ended up pushing it back to 2021), New Pokémon Snap got announced.
- The opening credits for Emile's redux Let's Play of Paper Mario lists "a friend who wishes to stay anonymous" amongst those who aided Emile in the LP's research process. While it's never been confirmed who this refers to, most believe the friend in question to either be Masae, as the timing of her and Emile's breakup would likely overlap with the LP's production, or Emile's current girlfriend, who Emile has refused to disclose any personal information about online, though it was leaked in 2024 that she resided in Scotland at the time, which greatly upset her as this was not public knowledge. She now lives with Emile and Tim.

The former appeared in the finale of her Okami LP. She also plays the Otamatone. She has done many streams where she plays songs with it, mostly in a very casual context, however she did collab with StringPlayerGamer playing the Otamatome for their cover of Animal Crossing New Horizons: 5 PM on YouTube.

Masae's Twitch Subscribers, YouTube Members, and Patreon Members of all levels have access to the server, including users who are gifted subs or memberships. On occasions, community events are held and Masae does art lessons in the voice channel with Patreon Members.
